We teach students of all ages, from young children starting their first instrument to teens, adults, and seniors. Lesson pacing and materials are adjusted based on each student's age, attention span, and prior musical experience.
Do I need to own a piano, guitar, or oud before enrolling?
Not immediately. New students can attend the first few lessons using instruments available at the studio while they decide which one suits them. We can also advise on suitable options and price ranges when you're ready to purchase your own.
How long are the lessons and how often should I attend?
Standard lessons run 45 to 60 minutes, once or twice a week depending on the instrument and student goals. Beginners often start with weekly sessions, while more advanced students sometimes add a second weekly lesson for faster progress.
Do you offer lessons for complete beginners with no musical background?
Yes, most of our students start with no prior musical training. Our instructors build lessons around fundamentals such as note reading, finger technique, and rhythm, gradually introducing more complex pieces as skills develop.
Can I switch between piano, guitar, and oud if I'm not sure which to choose?
Yes, students can try different instruments during introductory sessions before committing to a regular schedule. Many students also study more than one instrument over time once they've built a solid foundation in the first.
Where is the studio located and is parking available?
Our studio is located in Alexandria, Egypt, in an accessible area with nearby parking options. Exact directions and parking details are shared with each student after booking their first lesson.
Do you offer online lessons in addition to in-studio classes?
In-studio lessons are our primary format since hands-on instruction works well for piano, guitar, and oud technique. For students who occasionally cannot attend in person, we can discuss alternative arrangements on a case-by-case basis.
How do you track a student's progress over time?
Instructors keep notes on repertoire covered, technical milestones, and areas needing more practice. Parents and adult students receive periodic updates so progress is clear and practice time at home stays focused.
What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy for lessons?
We ask students to notify us at least 24 hours in advance if a lesson needs to be rescheduled. This allows us to adjust the instructor's schedule and offer the time slot to another student when needed.
